Why is most of my stuff not colored? Well, because frankly I don't feel I'm very good at it and it takes me freaking forever to get the effect that I want. So my current goal is to vastly improve my skills and hopefully learn to like it a little more . . .

To be honest, I nearly scrapped this piece because it was getting so involved! Drawing in all the kimono patterns by hand . . . why in the world would I put myself through such hell?!

I finally found a few shortcuts on PS Elements, but it still took me a long time to reach a point where I was somewhat satisfied with the result . . . Consider this and all related pieces just training, so bear with me as I continue to improve . . . I hope . . . It's definitely okay if none of you like this! I realize it is a bit different from the rest of my stuff . . .

Oh, and if you know why the theme in the background is eight birds, maybe I'll reward the first person who gets it right with a request . . .
